CORONAVIRUS (Covid-19) – Temporary Closure 02/01/2021
Dear Parent/Member,
Following the latest announcements from the government and British Gymnastics, it is with great sadness that we will have to temporarily close the gym from Monday 4th January. We will review this in line with the governments reviews of the lockdown/Tier System and let you know as soon as we are able to reopen. The club will have a skeleton office staff available via email should you need to speak to anyone during this time.
Thank you so much to everyone that was in the position to donate their credit, we are so grateful. We will be in touch regarding any fees already paid when we are able to reopen.
All information/updates regarding the recommencement of sessions will be published via our website, social media accounts and emailed to parents.
Please accept our apologies for any disruption and disappointment this may cause but we hope you appreciate we need to follow the governments instructions and advice given by British Gymnastics our governing body.
Many thanks and stay safe,
The Rowan Gymnastics Team

CORONAVIRUS (Covid-19) – Lockdown November
Following the latest announcements from the Government and British Gymnastics, it is with great sadness that we will have to temporarily close the Club from Thursday the 5th of November to Wednesday the 2nd December 2020. The Club will have a skeleton office staff available via email should you need to speak to anyone during this time.

It has been so fantastic to be able to open since July and to see our gymnasts enjoying their sessions again and we cannot wait to be able to reopen our doors again in December.
Please accept our apologies for any disruption and disappointment this may cause but we hope you appreciate we need to follow the Government instructions and advice given by British Gymnastics our governing body.
Many thanks and stay safe,

CORONAVIRUS (Covid-19) – NHS Test and Trace Service
As you are probably aware it is a Government requirement that Rowan Gymnastics Club keeps records of which gymnasts, staff and visitors have been at the club, at what day/time they were at the club and their contact information. Although our office and viewing gallery remain closed, there are instances where parents or older members may still be in the building, for example a parent and child class or an adult class. Therefore, there is now the option to scan the NHS QR code displayed at the entrance to the club if you wish to be part of the NHS test and trace service. For more information about the NHS test and trace service app, please paste the link below into an internet browser.

Many thanks,

CORONAVIRUS (Covid-19) Update – Reopening 25/07/2020 – Social Distancing and Cleaning Procedures
Recreational Classes will recommence in September and for existing members we will email you with details as soon as we can. Recreational gymnasts (infants and above) have the option to attend camps from the 31st of July (please see camp information).
We have been working hard to ensure we can provide a safe environment for your child to return to gymnastics and the following will be in operation.
Socially distanced rotation systems and queueing systems for gymnasts to follow
Additional cleaning during and in between sessions
Staggered sessions and smaller class sizes
Handwashing and hygiene posters for gymnasts to follow
New hand dryers in the toilets
Socially distanced entry and exit system to the club
We have set out a queueing system in the car park at the front of the club, therefore our car park will not be accessible for any cars. Please use the visitor parking which can be found at one of the following places on the trade park.
– On the left-hand side, as you enter the trade park
– On the right-hand side, as you pass the Jockey Club’s car park
– Or by turning left as you enter the trade park and then left after Unit 10.
Once you arrive at the club’s car park, we ask you to queue 2 meters apart using the markings provided, please then wait for a coach to meet you at the door. The coach will explain what to do and will keep gymnasts socially distanced when entering the club. A socially distanced queueing system for gymnasts will be in operation when exiting the club. Please queue using the markings provided when collecting your child.
If you have any questions regarding our social distancing or cleaning procedures, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Many thanks,
The Rowan Gymnastics Club Team.
CORONAVIRUS (Covid-19) Update 28/05/2020 – Temporary Class Suspension
Dear Parent/Member,
We hope you are all well and keeping safe. With regards to classes restarting, we are still unable to run classes until the Government allows indoor leisure facilities to reopen. Once the Government has announced when this will happen, we will then be liaising with British Gymnastics on how we can safely coach gymnasts. We will email all parents, update our social media and this website once we have further information regarding classes restarting.
Many thanks,
The Rowan Gymnastics Team.

The health and well being or our members, their families and our staff is our highest priority.
